When the Sigtuna Foundation started its activities 100 years ago, the idea was that it would be a place for cross-border meetings, a haven for thoughts and reflections, a place where people would be given space to develop through samtaö, meetings and discussions. The building itself is a magical place with yellow arches that evoke the mystical charm of Italy.

Lodging
Our rooms have a personal charm, all named after prominent and important personalities for either Sweden or the Sigtuna Foundation. Some examples are Linné, Eklund and Fogelklou, here and in all rooms you can read the story of your particular room. We have 62 rooms with a total of 96 beds. As the rooms are different, there are often personal favorites that you like to come back to.

Premises
Sigtuna Foundation's conference rooms are equipped with the latest conference technology. For specific needs, we rent the extra technology you need for your particular meeting.

Sigtuna Foundation's various meeting environments create creative meetings. Challenge the group to a joint "Meditation in the Crypt", breathe fresh air during a "Walk and Talk" or book our secluded house Refugiet where you can confer, eat and stay secluded. Together we plan meetings for small or large groups, digital hybrid meetings with the latest technology or short business lunches in privacy. Stora Salen is the largest room that seats up to 180 people in cinema seating with large windows for good light and over 5 meters in ceiling height.

Food & drink
Chef Morgan's love of childhood home cooking is most evident during the Sigtuna Foundation's buffet lunches, which often include Wallenbergare, raggmunk or ice cubes.
During the dinners, it is instead the influences of French and Italian cuisine that set the tone.

The kitchen also places a great emphasis on cooking seasonally, with lots of greens on the plate and a large proportion of organic and locally produced ingredients. During the summer we get fresh spices from our spice garden and when harvest time comes we can enjoy apples, pears, plums and honey from the orchard.

For us, food and drink are a natural part of the experience and our sommeliers will be happy to help you choose a drink that will take this experience up a notch.

Activities
We offer a tour of the Sigtuna Foundation free of charge for all overnight guests. We tell about the facility and its rich history from the library and the clip archive, but also the story behind the start of the business and about all the authors who have sat and written at the Sigtuna Foundation over the years.
We offer most activities such as team building and playful. Various tastings, construction or a leg stretch - here you decide for yourself according to budget, time and taste what activities to include in the conference. The proximity to the water makes it possible for wet activities such as a boat trip with, for example, a RIB, and with the city of Sigtuna on the doorstep, it is advantageous to take a hike with a guide. Here lies a lot of Swedish history that colleagues have not heard before.

Location
From Arlanda airport it is only 15 minutes by car/taxi and from both Stockholm and Uppsala it is easy to get to the Sigtuna Foundation by municipal means. We also have fixed prices for taxi and bus.

Other
Sigtunastiftelsen is a Nordic Swan Ecolabeled facility that also compensates for its environmental impact and is thus climate neutral and part of Destination Sigtuna's sustainability program. As the only facility in Sweden, it is also Fairtrade certified.

-If you are not satisfied with suggested venues, call or email our responsible agent and we will give you additional alternatives

-If you want to book a venue from our presentation, call or email our responsible agent. Alternatively, if you wish to book exactly according to the specification, press the BOOK-button for the desired venue - and we contact you for a final check. If everything is OK for you, we send you our agent confirmation

-In the confirmation you will also get contact details to a coordinator at the booked venue, with whom you later set up the detailed planning of the meeting.
