Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa is located right by Varberg’s plaza, only a few steps from the sea and Varberg’s railway station. We always have a holistic perspective on your conference, no matter how big or small it is. Here people are seen in joy, dynamism and relaxation - not least in our Asian spa and in the hotel's cozy surroundings and restaurant.
Accommodations
Unique charm does not exclude comfort and high standards. With us, you will always feel welcomed. Our range of comfortable rooms is wide. Whatever your prefer, we dare to promise you that we have something to spoil you with. In addition, many of our rooms are generously equipped with, for example, coffee machine, kettle and sound system.
We offer three main categories of hotel rooms - Boutique, Classic and De Luxe.
Our 66 Boutique rooms are available in many individual styles, all with creative designs and influences from all around the world.
We have 28 De Luxe rooms located in the original part of the hotel, some with view to the square. The stile is XX century romance combined with classical luxury and modern comfort.
Our 82 newly renovated Classic rooms are comfortable and more traditional rooms with a pleasant atmosphere.
Conference rooms
We have 19 meeting rooms for all occasions. From the smaller arrangement to the larger meetings.
Our auditorium Middelgrund is a conference room with sloping floor with seats for 92 delegates. It still gives an intimate feeling, even for smaller groups, and suits you perfectly as a lecture room. Spegelsalen, which is our largest conference room of 240 m², is magnificent and stunning. It fits perfectly larger conferences, festive occasions and kick offs.
Food & Beverage
Genuinely and deliciously are the most important words in our kitchen. The commodities are, as far as possible, near produced and following the season. It is important for both the environment and the taste. The result of this is well composed dishes. In addition, we can help you choose a good wine for your meal. The goal is to give you an overall experience, where food and drink interact. Our restaurant NAMI has won awards and is a traditional Japanese izakaya restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the cuisine serves simple and fresh dishes such as grilled meat or fish, vegetables, pots and hot soups, sushi and sashimi.
We are flexible and can offer different rooms to serve your meals.
Our restaurant offers an open but still snug atmosphere, with the possibility to sit separately if you wish so. The large, glazed porch provides you the feeling to be outdoors while you are indoors and you can enjoy the season in comfortable indoor temperature. For a big party dinner we recommend the room Spegelsalen. If you want to have an Asian feeling throughout your visit, you can instead eat Asian at our Japanese restaurant NAMI.
Generous mingling areas make it easy to hang out before the dinner and after enjoying the food.
We are here for you, your guests and your activities. We have a variety of activities with different themes, such as food & beverage, culture, team building, creation, lectures and entertainment. It's just the imagination and your available time setting the limits for what activity suits you best. We plan your activity with you.

Location
The central location makes it easy to get to Varberg’s Stadshotell, whether you're driving car or opting for a train. Just a few minutes walk from the train station you will find us right at the square. This makes Varbergs Stadshotell an excellent choice for all kind of conferences, as it is easy to get to, even for participants coming from other parts of the country.
If you are arriving by car, you can park freely on our own parking lot. The easiest way is to drive directly to our parking and walk about 400 m to the hotel. Directions and parking ticket can be found on our website.
In Varberg applies a special parking disc that you can get from the reception. Please make sure to look at the street signs at the selected parking lot!
Our location gives you great opportunity to experience Varberg within walking distance. On the lunch break you can easily get down to the sea to see Varbergs Fortress, stroll on the seafront and breathe in the fresh sea air. If you have a little longer free time, you can walk to Kallbadhuset, which is a sign for Varberg. There you can go to the sauna och swim in the sea all year round.

We work actively to take our responsibility for how we influence society, from an economic, environmental and social perspective. For example, we have our own windcraft plant that supplies us with electricity. And best of all, not only to Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa but also our other venues, Arken Hotel & Art Garden Spa and Hôtel Eggers.
