We offer a wide range of facilities and activities to take part in in addition to your conference. Courses in flower arranging, dinners in Franz Bistro & Bar and wine tasting around the kitchen table are just a sample of what we have to offer.

The hotel is steeped in the story of Franz and Greta who are the hotel's very own love couple. The couple lived and worked at the hotel in the mid-20th century and it is said that Greta still runs around on the top floor of the hotel and gets up to mischief.

Hotel Mårtenson consists of 136 rooms, six rooms for meetings and events, bar, bistro, chef's table, café, relaxation area with hot tub and sauna, its very own flower and interior design shop, coworking, gym and a rooftop bar that is open during Sweden's warmer months.

Food & Drink
Hotel Mårtenson has a wide range of food and drinks and offers a café, bistro, bar, chef's table and rooftop bar.

Gretas Café
Here you'll find Mårtenson's own fine toast, local bottled beer and the hotel's favorite wines from the cellar. The café serves all-day breakfast, lunch, coffee and a lot of other goodies. If you don't have the opportunity to eat on site, it's fine to bring a take away bag. Or why not have a conference snack in the park with a picnic basket from the café.

Franz Bistro & Bar
Brunch, lunch and dinner are served here. In an environment where design, taste, textures and high-quality service are combined, flavors and memories are promised that will not be forgotten. Meet for food and stay for company, enjoy Franz Bistro & Bar's very own signature drinks, delicious dishes in a variety of sizes and spend hours in conversation that never seems to end.

Greta's Roof
On the top floor of the hotel you'll find the rooftop bar overlooking Halmstad's rooftops. Here you can enjoy simple but tasty dishes and drink drinks with playful elements. Gretas Tak has become one of Halmstad's new go-to places on hot summer days and late nights.

Relax
At the hotel it is possible to book a relaxation area with sauna and spa bath, which is located in its own small courtyard in a cozy lounge environment. Here you have access to bathrobes, towels and the opportunity to order both drinks and food.

Gula Villan
Gula Villan is a part of the hotel that is available to rent as a group. Here you will find seven double rooms, a common living room with opportunities for physical and digital meetings and when you choose to rent Gula Villan you also get exclusive access to the relaxation area.
