A place created for meetings - Skogshem & Wijk really is. In the late 1950s, architect Anders Tengbom designed Skogshem & Wijk already as a distinct meeting facility and today we are a wonderful meeting facility with about 50 meeting rooms for 2-550 people, many indoor and outdoor lounges with archipelago views and 222 comfortable hotel rooms with 290 beds. Within less than ten minutes walking distance we have access to another 170 rooms. All framed by a vast natural plot 17 minutes from Stureplan, 20 minutes from Stockholm Central and 35 minutes from Arlanda. An award-winning kitchen, fully equipped gym and personal attention from the first contact further enhance the stay.
Lodging
The bed is made, the wind whispers lightly in the pines around the house and you can unwind completely. In Skogshem & Wijk's comfortable hotel rooms, you wake up rested for the meeting. From most of the rooms you also have a sea view. And if you need to work, that's no problem - all rooms in our main building are also equipped with wireless broadband and equipped with LED TV with internet directly in the TV via Android operating system.
All rooms are equipped with WC, shower, TV, telephone, wireless broadband, desk with generous space and hairdryer.
As of August 2019, we have 28 new double rooms, you can rent the entire house exclusively, with meeting rooms for 30 people, two of the rooms have their own meeting room for 6 people and a room with its own sauna.
Locations
Skogshem & Wijk is a place created for meetings. We have 18 conference rooms and 28 group rooms, a total of 46 flexible rooms with varying furnishings and sizes for 2 - 550 people, spacious public areas and a vast natural plot made for conferences, training and events. Both inside and outside. Do you need functional conference rooms in combination with many group rooms for your conference? Are you launching a new car and need a large arena for this event? Opportunity to develop a strategy together, anchor a business plan or draw up guidelines for the future?
All rooms have windows and are equipped with large writing surfaces, projectors, pads and pens. Wireless internet is available throughout the facility. Our second largest room is extra secure and in our large and functional EventArena you can launch cars, buses and trucks.
Food & drink
We think that variety and a wide range are important for you to be able to choose the food and drink that you like and feel good about. That's why we serve both what's healthy for the body and for the soul. We simply want you to eat well and feel good when you are with us. For us, every meal is important to ensure that you are nourished and energized for meetings and activities. That's why we cook all our food from scratch using carefully selected ingredients. The ingredients we choose are organic, locally produced and seasonal as far as possible. The choice is based on a concern for you as our guest and for the environment we live in.
For lunch, you can choose from soup, two hot dishes and a rich salad table as well as good bread. There is always a vegetarian option. Dinners are a feast with well-composed menus. We are happy to provide suitable drink suggestions with wine, beer or non-alcoholic alternatives to the meal.
Activities
At Skogshem & Wijk there are lots of opportunities to spice up the program with meaningful activities. Both inside and outside. We have 200,000 square meters of natural land with a shoreline and offer a variety of activities with both fast-paced and quiet elements. We have a wide range of activities and offer ready-made entertainment concepts that are adapted to the size and wishes of your group. Take advantage of our famous lecturers, show groups, artists and frame your conference or party to make it unique and a memory for life!
At our facility there are all possibilities for Business Energy. Four gyms, three fully equipped indoor and one outdoor gym. Outdoors you will also find our warm pool that keeps about 32 degrees all year round. Several exercise trails for Nordic walking or running of three, five or ten kilometers, poles are available to borrow at the reception. In addition, our health inspector is available on request, for group training or customized lectures on food, exercise and health for your particular participants.
Our added values in the form of pinball, chess, billiards, table tennis, boules, frisbee golf, mini golf, board games and bicycles etc. are included for you as a guest with us.
Or why not try racing at your next conference, training or event? On a racing boat, the team's ability to communicate, cooperate and act is crucial to achieving good results. Is this also important in your business? Then we recommend racing as a team activity.
Location
