Hotel Strana is located on Orust, close to Hälleviksstrand, surrounded by an archipelago environment that provides both peace of mind and perspective.
Here you are met in a smaller and personal facility where the proximity to the sea and nature sets the tone for the stay.
Strana is particularly suitable for meetings where focus, conversation and community are at the center - without distractions and without stress.
Meeting rooms
Hotel Strana offers four meeting rooms of different sizes. The two smaller rooms can accommodate up to 8 people each, while the largest room can accommodate up to 40 participants in theater seating.
All meeting rooms are located in a separate building next to the hotel and are fully equipped with projector or screen, pads and pens. Water, fruit and sweets are always available for a smooth meeting day.
Accommodation for groups and conferences
The hotel building has 12 stylishly decorated hotel rooms that can be used as single or double rooms, several of which overlook the sea.
In addition to the hotel rooms, Strana also offers Sea Houses - cozy cottages where up to six people live together, divided into three bedrooms with shared shower and toilet. They also have a kitchen and their own jetty, a popular option for groups who want to stay together and near the sea.
The accommodation at Strana is adapted for rest and recovery between meetings, with nature right outside the door.
The restaurant
In the restaurant, the sea is in focus. It serves freshly caught fish and shellfish, carefully selected ingredients and dishes that are skillfully prepared with respect for the season and origin.
The menu is supplemented with ingredients from farms and pastures in the immediate area and becomes a natural and appreciated element during the stay - whether it is lunch in the middle of the meeting day or dinner to gather around in the evening.
Activities in connection with meetings
At Hotel Strana there are good opportunities to alternate the meeting day with recovery and experiences.
In 2025, the newly built spa was inaugurated - a natural gathering point for relaxation before or after the day's meetings.
There are heated outdoor pools, a sauna raft, a traditional sauna and the possibility to book treatments. A calm and thoughtful environment where conversations can continue at a different pace.
In addition to the spa, the surroundings of Strana offer archipelago nature that is well suited for walks, conversations and simple breaks outdoors. Activities can be adapted to the needs of the group - as a break in the meeting day or as a joint conclusion.
How to get here
Hotel Strana is located about an hour from Gothenburg. Parking is available right outside the hotel, making the journey easy all the way there.
